What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What's a funnel marketing approach and why do online marketers need to develop one?

It is a marketing strategy to convince potential customers to buy products from your company. It's a sales process that allows someone to visit your blog to find information that solves their problem. You will be able to build a rapport with each person by using certain tools.

This will help to understand the needs of every visitor. This will allow you to offer the best information possible for all visitors. When you have gained the trust of a potential customer the visitor will feel more comfortable purchasing products. The customer will then turn into a buyer.

At some point the majority of customers become very loyal clients who are willing to buy any product that your website promotes. A marketing funnel outlines the steps that are involved in turning a visitor to your site into a client who will return to you for all future purchases.

For any internet marketer, this is the final objective. A properly created funnel can achieve this very easily.

Your promotional materials are drawing attention of people and leading them to your funnel. When they fill out your PERSONAL form, they will be automatically enrolled in the funnel. Since no one is going to sign up to your lead capture page, I said "personal". They want to join a leader and not a business.

The page for lead capture is where they enter the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up Now" or "Enter here" buttons, they will be in a position to enter a different world of network marketing.

The most important thing is that they're competent to perform the task. It's their decision. You've not offered anything other than that you are a leader, mentor and someone who will help them get more leads, and more money into their business.

This is how a typical marketing funnel works:

The "front-end", you can create a free offer that will draw and attract prospective customers who may be interested in buying your product further down the sales funnel. You must register to receive the product (also called opt in) and then enter your email address and name. They will then be added to your email mailing list.

Now, you've got those contacts on your email list and you can also send similar offers that they may be interested in.

By signing up for the free offer will take you to a webpage with low-price offers or what's called"a "trip wire offer". This is when they'll be taken to the "back-end" of your funnel.

The purchaser are taken to a similar offer with a lower price when they buy the lower-cost offer (also called an upsell). If the buyer buys this higher priced offer, they'll be taken to the next related product with a higher cost. This could continue for a lengthy time.
