Journal Membership 2-5-21
This is Journal Club 02/05/21! I hold one every week JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present some that have influenced my life this week. Be safe and stay healthy!
- Continuous learning is important as you know for sure. But sometimes it’s easy to let our ego get in the way. Usually, once you’ve mastered some skills, it seems better to stick with them than start over with something new. But in This post by Crispy DocYou will see that the “Beginner” setting is far more valuable.
- If you are just starting out with investing for passive income, make sure to check this out This post from Debt-Free Doctor. It takes an in-depth look at how you can take 50,000 and invest strategically over the next ten years – and what to do with your passive income after that.
- The concept of “habit persecution” has become increasingly popular in recent years. Some love it, some hate it, but I think it’s great as a tool to improve your life. It seems that the author of This post from Get Rich Slowly agrees – although the reasons why you should start pursuing your own habits may surprise you.
- Doctors may make a lot of money by national standards, but many of us still make a living from paycheck to paycheck. Why this? I think it has a lot to do with the way we think. As I am sure you know, a high income is not the same as wealth. According to this older post from the White Coat InvestorTo get the life you want, you have to choose Be rich.
That’s it for this week! Hope Journal Club 2/5/21 has been helpful to you.
Finally, a little motivation. Have fun and a nice weekend!
