Polish crypto exchange worker in a coma after an armed attack

Polish police have arrested a suspect in an armed attack on FlyingAtom, a cryptocurrency and gold exchange in the city of Olsztyn in northeastern Poland. The incident that occurred At around 7 p.m. local time on January 22, two employees were injured, one of whom was severe enough to require an induced coma.

According to local media reports on January 23, the masked attacker escaped with gold worth 450,000 zlotys (approximately US $ 120,000) and fled the stock exchange office on the fourth floor of a downtown skyscraper. After the incident, the police secured the area and searched the surveillance footage, cordoned off several streets in the city and searched cars passing by. The next morning the streets were opened again.
